My question is why didn't homura make this wish- "I wish Madoka would come back to life, and that we would both have a never ending supply of hope and strength"
Then instead of repeating time they could have defeated the witch with their new strength, and never require grief seeds to cleanse their soul gems because they would have a never ending supply of hope to cover it!
